About 50 percent of cancer treatments worldwide are performed using radiotherapy. In its implementation, radiotherapy includes several stages, one of which is treatment planning. This study aims to assess the difference in dose received by PTV and OARs in planning using IMRT and 3DCRT techniques in cervical cancer patients. The method used in this study is scanning using a CT simulator, delineating PTV and healthy organs around the tumor (OARs), and planning using treatment planning system software. The results showed that in OARs, 3DCRT planning resulted in a dose of 4000 cGy by hitting 58.28% of the buli volume, and a dose of 5000cGy by hitting 17.76% of the rectum volume. While planning IMRT, a dose of 4000cGy hits 31.50% of the buli volume, and a dose of 5000cGy hits 12.29% of the rectum volume. In PTV, the doses produced by 3DCRT and IMRT planning were 4750cGy and 4750 cGy, and hit 95.18% and 98.71% of PTV volume, respectively. This study concludes that planning using IMRT is better than planning using 3DCRT in cases of cervical cancer. This is shown by the dose that covers the target tumor (PTV) and a significant dose reduction in OARs.

2023-01-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Teras Kesehatan ANALISIS PROSEDUR CT SCAN SINUS PARANASAL DENGAN MEDIA KONTRAS PADA KLINIS TUMOR CAVUM NASI 2023-01-21T07:09:14+00:00 Leny Anggraeni
The paranasal sinuses are cavities in the facial bones consisting sinuses of frontal (on the forehead), ethmoid (on the bridge of the nose), maxillary on the right and left cheeks, and sphenoid (behind the ethmoid sinuses). CT scan examination of the paranasal sinuses with contrast media is used to detect various abnormalities in the facial bones and soft tissue in detail. Meanwhile, the axial view is known to be the best standard examination for assessing the lower orbitomeatal line (IOML). This study aimed to analyze the Ct Scan examination procedure of the paranasal sinuses with nasal cavity tumors in Radiology Installation of Dr. H. Abdul Moeloek Hospital in Bandar Lampung. This study used descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through techniques of direct observation on the patient with nasal cavity tumors, documentation studies of radiographs, and interviews with radiographers and radiologists. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to draw conclusions and suggestions can be drawn. Result of the study showed that the procedure of CT Scan of the paranasal sinuses with clinical tumors of the nasal cavities at the hospital was performed using patient preparation of laboratory examination procedures and taking scanogram images on axial and coronal sections
2023-01-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Teras Kesehatan UJI KESESUAIAN CT NUMBER IN WATER PADA PESAWAT CT SCAN MERK PHILIP DI INSTALASI RADIOLOGI RSU BMC PADANG 2023-01-09T05:00:06+00:00 Livia Ade Nansih Cicilia Artitin
CT number is the value of the X-ray attenuation coefficient determined by the average energy of X-rays and the absorber atomic number is expressed by the attenuation coefficient. The population of all CT number tests, samples at five measurement points with ROI in the center of the image, at 12 o'clock, 3 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock directions. Research data was taken by observing, experimenting and documenting. Data analysis was compared with PERKA BAPETEN Number 9 of 2011 concerning quality assurance of QA and QC of CT Scan aircraft. The results showed that the CT number value in the middle of the image on the first day was 4.83 HU, the second was 4.83 HU, the third was 4.14 HU, the fourth was 5.15 HU and the fifth was 5.16 HU while the average standard deviation on the first day was 3, 48 HU, the second day 3.42 HU, the third day 3.41 HU, the fourth day 3.43 HU and the fifth day 3.50 HU, the ROI uniformity results at the image and noise center show that it has exceeded the tolerance limits set by PERKA BAPETEN No. 9 of 2011.
2023-01-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Teras Kesehatan HUBUNGAN ANTARA JUMLAH KELAHIRAN BALITA DENGAN JUMLAH BALITA STUNTING 2023-01-11T08:19:42+00:00 Raafika Studiviani Binuko Joni Maulindar
Disorders experienced by babies caused by stunted growth are commonly called stunting. The number of sufferers in toddlers in Indonesia is very large, so this has received the attention of the government. Several factors cause stunting in toddlers, including lack of food intake and exclusive breastfeeding in toddlers. However, the percentage and the relationship between the number of babies born and the possibility of stunting are unknown, which is the basis for this research. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the number of babies born and the possibility of stunting babies. Research conducted using regression analysis is used to determine the relationship between variables. The sample data used in this study were 157 toddlers. The data collection technique used is the collection of primary data and secondary data. Based on the results of the analysis conducted by the researchers, the correlation value between the number of babies born and the number of stunted babies is 0.38 (very low category). Therefore, it can be concluded that the relationship between the number of babies born and the likelihood of stunting babies has a very low significance level.
2023-02-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Teras Kesehatan PERILAKU MEROKOK DALAM PANDANGAN ISLAM 2023-02-02T02:04:13+00:00 Nadira Tatya Adiba Meilan Arsanti
Smoking is a very common behavior or habit in Indonesia. However, in the long term, this behavior is very dangerous for health because the content in cigarettes can cause various health problems. In this decade, there has been a significant increase in the number of adult smokers by 8.8 million people, from 60.3 million in 2011 to 69.1 million smokers in 2021 as recorded in the Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS). Even though many people are aware of the dangers of smoking, cigarette enthusiasts, especially in Indonesia, are increasing every year. The problem regarding the increasing number of cigarette users never stops and always raises pros and cons to it. A review of Islamic law regarding smoking can also be a factor in the amount of cigarette consumption. At present, the management of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) forbids smoking on the basis that the consequences of smoking are more than the benefits provided by smoking, however, several other scholars have a different view of making smoking illegal because these scholars have found no evidence that prohibits smoking. cigarette. Objective: To determine the effect of the pandemic and Islamic law on smoking behavior. Methods: This type of research is a literature review taken from Al-Qur'an and Hadith sources, international journals, previous national journals, and books.
2023-02-02T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Jurnal Teras Kesehatan
