Prevention of dental and oral diseases needs to be disseminated from the lowest levels such as individuals, families, to the community. Teledentistry is an innovation that can be useful for reaching people who have difficulty with accessibility. The aim of this research is to determine the application of teledentistry in preventing dental and oral diseases in Indonesia. The method used in this research is the literature review. The results of this research are that teledentistry can be used to prevent dental and oral disease and promote dental and oral health. The teledentistry method most often used to prevent dental and oral disease is the store and forward (asynchronous) method.
2024-07-10T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Teras Kesehatanhttps://jurnal.politeknikalislam.ac.id/index.php/jutek/article/view/131PENYAKIT GIGI DAN GUSI SEBAGAI PENYEBAB PENYAKIT JANTUNG2024-07-11T04:36:02+00:00Hamdan Ali Hartantohamdanali@std.unissula.ac.idMeilan Arsantimeilanarsanti@std.unissula.ac.idMuhammad Syarif Wicaksonomuhammadsyarifw@std.unissula.ac.id
Tooth and gum disease is a condition that is widespread throughout the world. Examples of these diseases are caries and periodontitis. This condition is dangerous if left unchecked because infected tooth and gum microbes can migrate to other parts of the body, one of them is the cardiovascular organs. The aim of this research is to determine the manifestations of poor dental and gum disease conditions that influence the occurrence of heart or cardiovascular disease. The research method used was a literature review or literature study. Reference material was searched using secondary data through books, articles and national and international journals. Data collected relates to cavities, periodontal disease, and cardiovascular disease. Data search came from Google Scholar, Science Direct, PubMed according to keywords. This study aimed to determine the difference in anatomical information from radiographs of cranium examination as an indication of radiograph quality in the selection of several exposure factors. The study was conducted at Hermina Arcamanik Hospital in April 2024. A phantom cranium was used as the object, and the exposure factor was set at a variation of the tube voltage value 60-80kV with the tube current value fixed at 20mAs. The radiographs were evaluated for anatomical details and analyzed through the Friedman test. The results showed that the anatomical information for each tube voltage value was 4.18 for 60kV, 3.91 for 65kV, 3.50 for 70kV, 2.27 for 75kV, and 1.14 for 80kV. The value of 60kV/20mAs has the highest mean rank value indicating that this exposure factor provides the most optimal anatomical detail
2024-07-29T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Teras Kesehatanhttps://jurnal.politeknikalislam.ac.id/index.php/jutek/article/view/138KAMISHIBAI PHBS SEBAGAI METODE STORYTELLING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOGNITIF ANAK USIA 5 – 6 TAHUN DI TKIT LUQMANUL HAKIM INSAN MADANI BANDUNG2024-07-29T04:17:45+00:00Neny Widyananenywidy.psy@gmail.comDiva Adellia Sya'banidivaadelliah8@gmail.comSindi Melani Sindisindibhj766@gmail.com
Cognitive ability is one aspect of early childhood development that needs to be stimulated from an early age. This research aims to determine the application of kamishibai as a medium used in storytelling to improve the cognitive abilities of children aged 5 - 6 years. This study used a one group pretest-posttest design, measuring cognitive abilities before and after intervention. The subjects of this research were 25 students aged 5 - 6 years at Luqmanul Hakim Insan Madani Kindergarten, Bandung. The results of research on the Pretest show that children's cognitive abilities 57,7 % with Developping According to Expectation (BSH) criteria. Meanwhile, the Posttest shows that the child's cognitive abilities have increased to 79,3% with the criteria of Very Well Developed (BSB). Aphasia cases can be managed using multimodal stimulation methods. This study aims to apply therapeutic steps and determine the effectiveness of the multimodal stimulation method in improving sentence naming abilities in patients with post-stroke conduction aphasia. The method used is a case study with purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out after diagnosis and the determination of the appropriate therapy method, which involved conducting an initial test; providing multimodal stimulation therapy in 10 sessions, each lasting 45 minutes; and a final test. Data analysis was performed by comparing the results of the initial and final tests and calculating the percentage increase. The results show that the patient achieved a final percentage of 100% and a 9-point improvement, which falls into the successful category.
2024-08-01T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Jurnal Teras Kesehatan
