Conventional radiography is a diagnostic imaging modality widely used in healthcare services. Variations in exposure parameters can influence the radiation dose received by patients; therefore, an assessment is required to support patient dose optimization. This study aimed to evaluate *Entrance Surface Air Kerma* (ESAK) values, compare them with the Indonesian Diagnostic Reference Levels (TPDI), and analyze ESAK differences based on the type of radiographic examination. A descriptive observational study design with a quantitative approach was implemented at the Radiology Department of Tangerang Regional General Hospital (RSUD). The study sample consisted of 50 adult patients undergoing chest (PA), abdomen (AP), pelvis (AP), lumbar spine (AP), and skull (AP) examinations. ESAK estimation was performed using CALDose_X software, and data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA. The results showed that the highest mean ESAK value was found in the lumbar spine AP examination (1.87 mGy), while the lowest was in the chest PA examination (0.31 mGy). A total of 84% of patients had values below the TPDI, while 16% exceeded the reference value.
