HUBUNGAN POLA BERMAIN DENGAN MEMORY DIGIT ANAK AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDERS DI SURAKARTA

Gangguan spektrum autisme ditandai dengan terjadinya gangguan keterampilan sosial serta komunikasi, sikap berulang, minat yang tidak lazim, serta perbedaan persepsi terhadap rangsangan sensorik (Donovan & Sheppard, 2020). Gangguan perkembangan pada anak ASD dapat mempengaruhi perkembangan awal dalam keterampilan bermain, sehingga pola bermain anak ASD tidak lazim atau terbatas. Penurunan kemampuan kognitif anak ASD berhubungan dengan memori kerja, dimana memori kerja adalah kemampuan untuk mengingat sesuatu (Buschman, 2021). Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel sebanyak 32 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu pearson product moment. Pola bermain pada anak gangguan spektrum autisme di Surakarta berada pada ambang batas rata-rata, sedangkan kemampuan memori digit anak gangguan spektrum autisme di Surakarta berada di bawah batas. Hasil pengujian memperoleh nilai signifikansi (p) sebesar 0,011 (p < 0,5) sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara pola bermain dengan digit memori anak gangguan spektrum autisme di Surakarta.
